We are searching for a skilled Quality Engineering Intern or Student Helper with a high interest in Quality Management, Quality Control, and Assurance. Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Quality Engineering Intern or Student Helper at Kassow Robots located in Copenhagen. The role involves managing the quality of the company's products and supplied parts, ensuring they meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and safety. The person in this role will work closely with the production and development teams to identify areas of improvement and provide quality-driven solutions.
Common tasks include:
- Developing and implementing measurement concepts (Control plans) for machined parts with the engineering team.
- Performing supplier evaluations.
- Performing quality control steps.
- Claiming and returning supplier items, managing the whole process with the operations team.
- Supporting validation of new and current robot systems in our production.
- Troubleshooting, solving issues, and implementing improvements across the entire value chain.
- Maintaining and developing assembly systems for electronic and mechanical assembly.
Qualifications
- A study or degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required.
- Experience or interest in quality management in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Experience or interest in risk management and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and 8D is preferred.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and potential quality issues.
- Experience or interest in root cause analysis and corrective action is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required, and familiarity with Danish is preferred.
