Program Office Lead

ECCO SKO A/S

Can you build a brand-new PMO and shape the road map to guide our global SAP S/4 HANA transformation? And do you want to leave your mark on a greenfield programme designed to transform ECCO’s business?
Join us and head a small team of 5 project managers with the opportunity to develop your people management skills as the function grows.

You’ll be at the epicentre of a large-scale ERP project that will redefine our operations for years to come” says Gerald Dehn-Jensen, Senior Program Director.

Build a PMO from scratch – and guide our technical project managers
As our new Programme Office Lead, you will play a crucial role in enabling our global SAP transformation. With SAP phasing out its legacy ECC system by 2027, we must be ready to transition to SAP S/4HANA – an upgrade that will streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and prepare us for future growth.

To enable this transformation, we need you to establish and manage a brand-new PMO. You will be at the heart of the programme – aligning teams, overcoming obstacles, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Acting as the central information hub, you will collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders – from Legal and Procurement to developers and system integrators.

More specifically, you will:

  • Design and support governance frameworks, reporting tools, and processes for effective programme management
  • Oversee project timelines, budget, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Identify risks, resolve situations, and facilitate problem-solving to ensure smooth project progression
  • Drive best practices in project governance, issue resolution, and change management
  • Update and maintain high-level road maps for programme visibility
  • Coach and develop your team of project managers

With time, we might need more project managers and other capabilities for your team – we’ll look at that when the programme gets going” says Gerald.

You can expect some international travel activity (approximately 10-20 days a year). Beyond that, you will be affiliated with our Bredebro or Copenhagen office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to 40% of the time.

Experienced project manager who can motivate a team
You know how to inspire others, and you are skilled at building and supporting teams while fostering collaboration across global stakeholders. Maybe you already have some experience with people management, or perhaps you are ready to step into a management role now.

Moreover, we imagine, that you:

  • Have extensive experience in programme management, including establishing and/or driving PMOs for large-scale ERP initiatives
  • Possess strong project management expertise, with proficiency in tools like MS Project and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Bring a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complexity and achieve strategic goals
  • Speak and write English effortlessly and you thrive in a multicultural, global environment

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
