Key Responsibilities

As an analyst in the FP&A for SG&A and Technology team, you will have an active role in supporting management decisions and the SG&A strategy in Maersk with analysis and insights that are enabled by knowledge of both finance and the business.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Owning monthly financial performance management and reporting framework for SG&A. Develop and deliver insightful presentations and reports for senior executives, translating financial data into compelling narratives that influence strategic decision-making
  • Owning global financial planning and forecasting process: from design to execution
  • Preparing material to senior management
  • Driving and facilitating long years strategic business planning
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize business performance.

Who We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for people with strong analytical mindset that can handle multiple tasks and challenges at hand while maintaining a good sense of urgency
  • You have 3+ years of work experience within financial planning & analysis, investment analytics, project controlling, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development or equivalent
  • You have exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to distil complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Mastering the discipline of presenting data in a clear and concise manner is a must.
  • You have a positive attitude and have outspoken collaboration skills and work well with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint. Experience from working with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar business intelligence systems is an advantage.
  • You have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles
  • You are self-starting person who is able to manage projects without much supervision, driven by a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
