Your New Role
You will be responsible for setting the direction and driving the execution of Manufacturing Intelligence / Process Analytics solutions across FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Denmark (FDBD) end-to-end manufacturing value chain (Drug Substance, Drug Product and Finished Goods).

You will collaborate with the organization’s leadership team at a strategic level, as well as hands-on deployment with QA, IT/Automation & Engineers/Scientists on manufacturing data/digital initiatives. You will provide multivariate modelling and analytics systems expertise required to support FDBD manufacturing, both internal and external users across all product modalities.

You are responsible for leading the PA group and for the integration and inclusion of new Data Engineers / Scientists/student assistants. By utilizing the skill and capabilities in the team, you will ensure that FDBD reaps the benefits of modern technology and stays at the forefront of manufacturing execution.

You will translate business needs and context into concrete and implementable actions within manufacturing data and digitalization. You will be responsible for various tasks related to ongoing projects, optimization of our data value chain and broader strategic initiatives.

Your Main tasks

  • Act as a thought leader within manufacturing intelligence and set the overall agenda and direction for the manufacturing data and analytics value chain in collaboration with Digital Technologies and Digitalisation.
  • Oversee training and development of staff and develop a culture of best practice data operations.
  • Delegate and prioritize activity conflicts between maintenance of current cGMP operations (day to day requests) and project work.
  • Responsible for client relations regarding process data/analytics.
  • Engage in expansion projects, map requirements, and seek to develop and introduce new Manufacturing Intelligence in DP and FG production areas.
  • Support innovation and systems improvement initiatives in the process analytics space.

Skills & Knowledge, we hope you possess

  • Master’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline with 6+ years of related industry experience ideally in a biologics/biotechnology setup.
  • Solid understanding of data science and experience with different machine learning algorithms and command of data science ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of systems and software packages and languages such as SIMCA, Statistica, SQL, Python, GIT.
  • Experience with regulated Computer Systems Validation for GxP applications projects.
  • Experience with running digital/data application projects both with Agile/Scrum ways of working.

Your New Team & Department
Process Analytics is an organization embedded in the Process Science organization, acting as a center of excellence for existing production-ready process data business processes. We seek to develop and introduce new Manufacturing Intelligence to support different end-users/stakeholders of our clinical, PPQ and commercial campaigns.

We are a growing team of highly professional dedicated data scientists/engineers with data science expertise - but also broad experience within pharmaceutical development and manufacturing of monoclonal antibodies.

We are key stakeholders in establishing the site’s process data and analytics value chain, whilst being the owners of already validated monitoring applications such as electronic-chromatogram review and machine learning batch performance models. We continuously strive to identify opportunities to improve internal systems and practices, as well as provide direction and development of digital/data offerings to our partners.
