Core Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Excellence in Documentation: Develop and maintain robust processes for handling documentation, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and company policies.
  • Ensure Accuracy of Technical Documentation: Regularly monitor and manage the storage of all OT-related documents, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for relevant collaborators. Follow-up to ensure that updates and changes are made correctly and that key technical documents are kept in a revision-controlled environment to maintain accuracy and traceability.
  • Training and Standardization: Provide training and guidance to relevant personnel on documentation standards and processes to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Integrate OT Requirements in Contracts and Collaborate Cross-functionally: Ensure that OT requirements are included in contracts when machines are ordered, facilitating seamless integration into manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to align documentation processes with OT goals and standards.
  • FAT and SAT Documentation: Ensure that all OT-related documents from Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) are present, accurate, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Support Technology Rollouts: Contribute to the swift and effective rollout of new technologies by ensuring all documentation is in place, thereby enhancing production reliability, flexibility, scalability, and performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving documentation processes and systems, ensuring they remain efficient and effective in supporting the OT department's objectives.

The primary goal of the Operational Technology department is to enable the factory of tomorrow and proactively safeguard our manufacturing sites by delivering SMART OT solutions & competencies.

As the global technology owner, we ensure flexible, scalable manufacturing, controlled risks, and swift technology rollouts to enhance production agility, reliability, and capacity.

The Documentation Controller plays an important role in maintaining excellence and compliance in documentation. This includes creating robust processes, ensuring compliance standards, handling updates, and including requirements in contracts for new machinery.

The role requires travel up to 20 days per year to meet LEGO colleagues and external partners.

This is a temporary role with a duration of approximately one year.

Do you have what it takes
We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team, bringing a diverse set of skills. Structured person, able to build strong relationships with collaborators in and outside the company. We envision an individual with strong technical understanding and electrical/ technical background and:

  • Proven experience in documentation control within a manufacturing setting, including creating and maintaining robust processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate and consistent documentation.
  • Strong partner management and interpersonal skills, capable of challenging and collaborating with partners and suppliers.

It will be highly advantageous if you have knowledge of software platforms such as Teamcenter, Octoplant and SharePoint, familiarity with the Machinery Directive and global standards, including UL, to ensure compliance and safety in product development and operations.
