The Danish Crown infrastructure is a large global infrastructure comprising of both administrative and production sites. We are looking into exciting projects and have ambitions for the server infrastructure area and the datacenter team. Since our default approach is to implement and operate our infrastructure ourselves, this is a hands-on job. Sounds challenging enough for you?

Global IT is responsible for developing, implementing, and operating IT across the Danish Crown Group. Within Global IT, we are more than 300 colleagues in Denmark, England, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, and China, and around 150 have their work base at the HQ in Randers.
You will join a proficient team, comprised of 9 skilled colleagues in our headquarters in Randers and our factory in Horsens. Collectively, we design, implement, and operate the IT in Danish Crown and maintains the necessary security level.
Your primary working area will be increasing security level on our server infrastructure, and you will be participating in the implementation and operations of solutions to mitigate and defend security vulnerabilities on all our Windows servers. You will of course also do day-to-day operations within the team, by resolving ad-hoc tasks concerning the systems and solutions within the responsibility of the team.
You will also take part in or touch upon various projects in the team such as vulnerability mitigation and observability/monitoring, edge computing is just what’s in scope for now.
We have ambitions for the datacenter area and will be looking into more automation and observability for more insight and faster troubleshooting.
We envision you to have:
• Hands-on experience with Windows server operations
• Experience with Azure and/or Defender for server
• Experience with patch management and application locker solutions
• Experience with VMWare, monitoring or observability is also a plus
• Danish and English in speaking and writing
You hold a relevant education and have at least a couple of years of experience as a server engineer, working in an agile environment, preferably from a larger company.
