KPMG

Are you fueled by a passion for navigating the complexities of financial risk management and have a track record in regulatory compliance, financial sector, or consultancy? Do you want to thrive within a globally recognized consultancy firm at the forefront of the financial services industry? Welcome to KPMG.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Financial Services Advisory team. As a Senior Consultant or Manager at KPMG, you will play a crucial role in mitigating our clients’ risks by taking the lead in designing, implementing, and validating credit and market risk models. Joining us means guiding clients through the complexities of established and evolving regulatory frameworks.

About the position
As our new colleague in Financial Services Advisory, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in diverse projects within areas such as credit risk, IRB models, IFRS-9 models, model development and validation, internal audit, and regulation/compliance.
  • Provide strategic financial consulting services to our clients, e.g., banks, financial supervisory authorities, pension funds, and insurance companies.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in business development, proposals, and client pitches.
  • Take part in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

By engaging in diverse projects, you will be intellectually challenged and continuously develop your theoretical competencies and practical toolkits in consultancy.

The successful candidate
The successful candidate is more than just a finance expert – also a passionate learner and professional grower. We will look for the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a data-related field, e.g., Economics, Mathematics, or Finance.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in risk management, model development, implementation, or validation within a financial firm, consultancy, or similar setting.
  • Proven experience in assessing, designing, and implementing credit or market risk models.
  • The ability to successfully communicate complex issues in verbal and written English.
  • Programming skills in Python, Matlab, R, SAS, and SQL are not required but are seen as an advantage.

This is more than a job – it is an opportunity to be intellectually challenged and continuously evolve in consultancy.

This position involves limited international travel activity. Your working address will be at Dampfærgevej 28 and at the client’s site. We offer flexible work-from-home opportunities but prioritize meeting at the office on Fridays to be with colleagues.

Why KPMG?
