Pandora is seeking a talented UX/UI Data Visualzsation Specialist to join the ATHENA team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to improve the usability of the portal and to increase the satisfaction of our users as well as shaping the future of user interactions and service design, even using AI tools.

About the ATHENA team at Pandora:

ATHENA is the one stop shop for reporting in Pandora. All enterprise company reports are built in Power BI and hosted in ATHENA from where everyone can access and consume data, insights and self-service analytics products.

As Data Visualization Specialist within the team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences and designing interfaces that leverage the full potential of design best practices as well as checking consistency and design coherence across all the distributed insights.

Collaborating closely with our D&A Product Lines, you'll be instrumental in crafting user-centric solutions to improve Pandora’s colleague and customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

UX Design:

  • Define design principles, best practices, quality check for the visuals used across the company
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, templates, and high quality designs for data-driven applications.
  • Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across the ATHENA platform and the Power BI reports.
  • Collaborate with data visualisation specialists and developers to implement and iterate on designs, ensuring alignment with design principles and engineering standards.

Usability Testing:

  • Plan and execute usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather user feedback.
  • Iterate on designs based on usability testing results and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Advocate for user-centered UX design principles in Power BI within the organization.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, business domains, local data teams and other stakeholders to integrate their product into ATHENA, giving advice about best practices and design principals, as well as applying the company data and governance model for Power BI.
  • Collaborate with communication teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within all teams, for example through Communities of Practice and/or other initiatives.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in service design and UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Experience working with BI, data preparation, and visualization
  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, Analysis Services, Tabular Editor, SSMS
  • Experience with Agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design principles and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with emerging design trends and a passion for staying updated on industry best practices.
