About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled QA & Test Engineer, to join our Clearing Engineering Department in Copenhagen. You will be reporting to the Team Lead.

In this role you should be ready to develop your skills in learning business processes, finding test scopes and writing and performing tests, incl. test automation. All of this in close collaboration with the other testers and developers of the team.

You will take responsibility for the testing aspects of different deliveries and be part of developing of the team’s approach to Quality Assurance. That includes supporting the refinement of the requirements for software features by bringing your QA perspective and experience to the table.

You will be part of a team that collaborate on testing early in the development cycle and wants to use test to support frequent deployments and releases to Cloud. You will be working closely with Software Developers in the programming-domain to support the collaboration on early software testing. You will also support in test analysis within the other areas of QA, such as performance and stability testing.

What you will be doing

• Analysis of requirements and solution to determine the test approach
• Collaborate on the design, implementation and maintenance of component and integration tests
• Define the scope for automation of manual tests and help automate the tests
• Continuous improvement of our processes and tools
• Investigate, communicate and report on bugs
• Coordinate QA effort with other development-teams to ensure end-to-end quality assurance
• Support the business colleagues in performing user acceptance testing

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, you have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have been responsible for software testing and worked in close collaboration with developers in an agile setup. You preferably have some experience with automated tests, and an understanding for, and interest in, programming, along with 3+ years of experience with IT development projects.

You value ensuring quality, while still being pragmatic about what can be accomplished within the given time and resources. You want to build the skills to help the team differentiate between what is suitable for automation and what isn’t. You are competent in building domain knowledge, and you know to ask for clarifications on the requirements that you are to create test coverage for.
It would be beneficial if you have experience in working/testing with C#, and APIs hosted in Azure. Additionally, it will be an asset if you have more than basic understanding of SQL, the ability to understand code when needed and a drive for learning more with help from your team-colleagues.

You cannot be an expert on all parameters, and first and foremost you are ready to learn from your team-colleagues and to both to the QA-vision and -requirements of the team and also challenge those when you see the need.

Your interpersonal skills cover a can-do attitude and a detail oriented and structured mindset. You are skillful in communicating at all levels of an organization which make you able to be an understandable and knowledge-sharing team-player.
