WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CREATIVE, DYNAMIC, METICULOUS INTERN TO SUPPORT THE FABRIC AND PRINT TEAM WITH THE DAILY RUNNING OF THE DEPARTMENT.

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
The role will predominantly include a mixture of organisational, administrative, and creative tasks including:

Organisational Tasks

  • Sample Management: Keep track of fabric and print samples, ensuring they are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of fabric swatches, print samples, and related materials.
  • Documentation: Organise and file design documents, technical sheets, and other important records. Ensure all files are up-to-date and easily retrievable.
  • Mail and Shipments: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments related to fabric and print samples. Track deliveries and coordinate with shipping departments.
  • Workspace Organisation: Keep the development workspace clean and organised. Ensure all tools and materials are in their designated places.

Administrative Tasks

  • Data Entry: Input data related to fabric and print specifications into company databases and software systems.
  • Email Correspondence: Assist in drafting and sending emails to vendors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding fabric research, sample requests, follow-ups, and updates.
  • Meeting Minutes: Take detailed notes during development meetings and distribute minutes to relevant team members.
  • Vendor Coordination: Communicate with fabric and print vendors to request samples, follow up on orders, and ensure timely deliveries.

Creative Tasks

  • Fabric & Print Boards: Manage the creation and upkeep of the seasonal fabric and print boards including swatches of all materials and key information.
  • Colour Palette: Support with the physical creation of the seasonal colour palette to be distributed to internal teams and external vendors.
  • Mood Boards: Support with preparing mood boards for meetings and presentations.
  • Rails: Support with preparing the presentation rails of all seasonal fabrics and prints ahead of meetings.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you must be affiliated with an educational institution, and you should possess all of the following skills:

  • Be a Danish citizen or have a Danish social security number
  • Be enrolled at a Danish educational institution
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail, especially when handling samples, data, and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Professional qualification in fashion, textiles, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding and/or interest in fabric types and print techniques.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or support role is a plus.
