At Fertin Pharma A/S, we are on an exciting growth journey that involves developing many new and exciting products, from pharmaceuticals to dietary supplements. We are, therefore, looking for another competent and committed colleague to join our sensory team.
The sensory team is a global function that provides sensory insight to support innovation, development, supply chain, and business development. The Sensory Team is an integral part of Product Development R&D and reports directly to the Head of the Pharmaceutical Development Team. We are looking for a Sensory Scientist who can be responsible for the daily coordination of our professional descriptive expert panels (internal and external) ensuring high validity and quality of the sensory tests. It is important that you are responsible, a skilled communicator, and have good social skills to thrive in the job. In addition, you are a person who gets energy from collaborating with many different people and can listen and create consensus in sensory panel training sessions.

About the job
Your key responsibilities will be:
• The maintenance of our sensory expert panels, including following up on performance and rescreening, as well as screening of new panelists
• Panel training and development of panel competencies within specific areas of interest
• Sample preparation and labeling of samples for testing, both internally and externally.
• Plan, set up, and facilitate sensory evaluations with the trained panel.
• Ensuring the necessary documentation and data collection in connection with the training of our sensory panelists.
• Engage in and apply relevant and latest methodology, and align with Fertin's Ways of Working
• Work closely with the other sensory scientists on statistical analysis and reporting of findings.

You are analytical, systematic, and have a proactive approach
• You have a bachelor or candidate within food science/behavourial science/moleculare biology, or a process technologist with experience in industrial applied sensory analysis or have a similar background.
• You have worked with a broad range of Sensory Methodologies and have basic statistical knowledge, uni- and multivariate analyses
• You have a flair for making quality documentation and are meticulous and quality conscious.
• It is an advantage that you have experience in using the EyeQuestion software and XLSTAT.
• You have a positive and proactive approach to all tasks.
• You speak and write Danish and English since you will work with Danish and international panelists.
