Logistics Officer (Dnipro)

Contribute to the efficient and effective logistics management of the DCA in Ukraine, with a responsibility managing warehouse, premises, transport and fleet needs of DCA Field Office in Dnipro.
Main responsibilities:
- Compliance with Logistics Policies/Manuals and Guidelines of both DCA and the donors.
- Compiles all information reports and produces the field reports, including annexes
- Update tracking systems of DCA assets and equipment by issuing and using Asset Contracts, report to Logistics coordinator in Country Office (Kyiv).
- Drafts the narrative part and sends the complete report to Logistics coordinator for review and approved.
- Extracts the following annexes from Mission report Asset inventory, Donation report Vehicle and generator fuel consumption reports, Insurance schedules
- Oversees Warehouse and Fleet Follow-up
- Training of the logistics and program staff on proper procedures
- Build and develop meaningful and effective relationship with partners at all levels
- Actively participate in updating of the logistics, and Manuals in conjunction with Prolog
- In conjunction with the Procurement Officer, ensure all maintenance and fuel contracts are managed/track correctly and timely
- Conducting an annual and periodic physical asset verification in accordance with DCA
- Work with the HR/Admin Officer to ensure that all DCA logistical activities in place
- Coordinate procurement for emergency intervention in different areas
- Strengthen capacity of Logistics department, non-logistics teams at FO and partners
- Responsible for booking of accommodation for DCA staff and visitors, pickups, drops to and from the airport
- Ensure proper disposal of assets according to DCA and donors’ policies and procedures
- Secure that all DCA IT equipment’s and networks (internet, Backup drive etc.) are up and running and security of all resources are up to date
- Provide monthly ad hoc analysis re. fleet management (fuel consumption & Repair)
- Ensure, with assistance from Fleet Officer, state of the art fleet management of all vehicles

Work related travels are expected in this position.
