You’ll be involved in every stage of data delivery, from gathering requirements and analyzing needs to working with ETL processes, data warehousing, testing and storytelling. Additionally, you'll ensure that the BI production environment operates smoothly, guaranteeing that all reports are up to date for our colleagues each morning—a crucial step in our BI initiatives.
Required Experience: Azure and Power BI
We are seeking a candidate with over 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure and Power BI, who has a keen interest in BI and analytics. You should be adept at maintaining a structured approach throughout the development process, capable of planning projects, and communicating effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in developing BI solutions using Microsoft SQL DB and DAX
- Skilled in discussing solutions with customers and stakeholders
- Capable of sketching mock-ups and developing intuitive visualizations
- Experienced in building Power BI data models and using data for storytelling
- Able to upskill users and colleagues in Power BI usage
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Experience with Lakehouse technology is a plus, but not required
- Eager to learn modern technologies in the dynamic BI field
Work Environment:
You will be part of a small, dedicated BI team within Hartmann IT, working closely with BI report developers in business units, external BI partners, and departments across North America and Europe. Our project pipeline covers operations and various business support functions, utilizing numerous source systems and diverse data from ERP, sensor, and app sources. Our current data warehouse infrastructure is based on Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Power BI.
