About the Light Rail Organization:
Metro Service is the operating organization behind the Ring 3 Light Rail. Currently, we are in the project phase, so you must be prepared to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Our goal is to establish and operate a high-quality public transportation system. The journey toward this goal will involve continuous learning, tight deadlines, and numerous milestones to celebrate.

Our Light Rail division currently consists of around 30 colleagues, but we expect to grow to approximately 200 employees by the time we go in operation.

About the position:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Coordinator to join our team within the Maintenance at the light rail business unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and planning maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations across various departments, and handling essential administrative tasks related to maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Maintenance Team in planning and coordinating daily tasks.
• Coordinate external access to track closures in collaboration with relevant parties.
• Work closely with the operations department to plan and organize maintenance and repair activities.
• Compile and maintain statistics related to work in and around the track.
• Handle insurance cases related to maintenance, excluding occupational injuries.
• Oversee the coordination of the First Line Response Team (FLRT) function.
• Administer departmental projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in updating relevant procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent in analytic, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with technical documentation and understanding technical requirements.
• Proven experience in cooperating with public authorities.
• Strong proficiency in IT tools relevant to the role, such as SAP and MS Office.
• Ability to understand and manage safety-related issues within relevant management systems.
• Ability to motivate others effectively.
• Strong teamworking skills with the ability to cooperate and liaise with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficiency in both Danish and English, with clear and effective communication skills in writing and speaking.

Educational qualifications:

• A technically educated or equivalent higher education in a relevant field.
• Willingness to undergo internal training according to the department's training plan.
• A valid driving license (Category B) is required.

Personal Attributes:

• Capable of maintaining a structured and systematic approach to work.
• Ability to maintain an overview and perform effectively in stressful situations.
• Adaptable and flexible to changing work demands.
• Cooperative and able to prevent conflicts at all levels.

The position requires presentation of a criminal record certificate.
