About the role
We are looking for Senior IT project manager to join our team of Automation and IT project managers. As a team, we are working on integration of new technologies with in 4.0 domain and in Pharma GXP in general.

Our projects vary a lot, which is why some projects are using traditional waterfall execution and others agile methodologies like SCRUM. Application solutions will typically be within implementation of PI Historian, Process analytical technology (PAT) and MES solution server rooms and infrastructure and much more.

Your role will be key in managing some of our existing projects and in identifying ways we can improve our project execution.

How you might spend your days
As a Senior Project Manager for IT projects, you’ll be:

• Engaged in the largest API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) projects within Novo Nordisk’s portfolio where each day presents new challenges requiring speed and agility
• Working in an international environment with a team of highly skilled engineers and specialists, throughout all project phases
• Leading, motivating and developing your team, providing feedback to secure continuous improvement
• Coordinating between internal and external stakeholders and disciplines, Electrical and Instrumentation division and external vendors
• Managing project scope, planning and budgeting and proactively identifying risks and mitigating these
• Working in a team of 36 highly skilled and motivated project managers based in Virum and Kalundborg

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• You have a degree in engineering or similar technical background
• Long track record of project deliveries in due time and a happy customer
• Preferable you hold a project manager certification PMP, SCRUM or similar
• 5-8 years experience as IT/OT senior project manager, preferable within Pharma
