Student Assistant, International HR - Arla Copenhagen

We are looking for someone with a passion for Talent Management and D,E & I - and a true talent for organizing, to support our international Talent management journey and especially our newly founded International female network in Arla.

How will you make an impact
As a Student Assistant in International HR you will be reporting to the HR Business Partner for our West Africa, Distributor Sales & ROW business, and you will work closely with our Vice President for International HR in Arla. Beyond this, you will interact heavily with our female leaders and senior leaders from business units across the entire globe. You are naturally service-minded with a big drive for impact and you thrive on getting things done and coordinating multiple tasks at the same time.

Your main task will be to coordinate all activities for our newly founded Arla Women International Network (Arla W.I.N.).:

  • Stakeholder management
  • Find and coordinate speakers (internal & external) for the quarterly events
  • Schedule, facilitate and advertise quarterly events
  • Facilitate core team meetings and take notes
  • Drive engagement in Viva Engage Community
  • Coordinate social learning activities on a quarterly basis
  • Manage communication towards the rest of the organization, potentially on LinkedIn
  • Manage mentor & sponsor set-/ups and matches

You will also support our wider Talent Management agenda in our International business.

  • Participate in the development of our Talent Analytics Platform.
  • Create insights from analysing core HR data.
  • Translate complex concepts into concise PowerPoint Presentations.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks for Head of International HR in relation to project management; e.g. updating of project plans.
  • Coordinating stakeholder meetings, scheduling trainings, organizing trips etc.

What will make you successful
We imagine that you are about to start, or at the beginning of your Master studies in an HR/business related field (e.g. Cand Merc). To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who are proactive, with a high degree of autonomy, drive and energy while being able to pay attention to details. Having strong analytical skills and a business-focused mindset will help you excel in this role - and an outgoing personality, ready to collaborate and build a strong network, is important. You should have a meticulous and structured approach to work, with a willingness to adapt and improve processes.

Together with this:

  • You must have excellent skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word – and interest in using and implementing new technologies like chatGPT, co-pilot etc.
  • Experience with Sharepoint is an advantage.
  • You must hold a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
  • A solid foundational understanding of HR processes, Talent Management and D,E&I as well as intercultural competence is an advantage.

As a Student assistant in International HR you will be working approx. 15 hours a week with flexibility with placement and number of hours in exam periods. During your student assistant role, you will be based with International HR and business colleagues in our newly opened Copenhagen office, located in Carlsberg byen.

Our ambition is, that the successful student assistant will evolve into a full-time position somewhere in the Arla international world, upon graduation.
