Senior Development Engineer, Core Banking Services

About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Senior .Net Developer, to join our Core Banking Services team in Copenhagen, reporting to our Engineering Team Lead, Tetiana Krylova.

In this role you will get the chance to work on both existing services the team owns as well as pro-actively contribute to a new system design that lies in the core of faster payments infrastructure.

What you will be doing

• Development and maintenance of services, APIs and back-end solutions
• Applying good engineering practices (clean and testable code, CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
• Keep learning new things and improving the team’s ability to deliver
• Align with event driven service-oriented architecture agenda
• Solve business problems in an elegant fashion given the constraints present

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role with minimum 7 years of full-time hands-on experience as a .Net C# developer, preferably as a backend engineer within C#, .NET,.NETCore, Web API and REST.

You have worked with Microsoft Azure (or GCP, AWS), relational databases (MSSQL preferably), message queue (Azure Service Bus preferably) and data-streaming technologies (EventHub, Kafka). Experience with data contracts and enterprise messaging patterns would be a plus. You have worked with Terraform, Docker and K8S before, or familiar through hobby projects.

As a person you are pro-active, responsible and quality oriented. You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working and the courage to try new things. We furthermore expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team player that cooperates well at all levels of an organization.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
