Associate Lead Tax Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll provide high-quality, value-adding tax assistance to the business. You’ll be working with e.g. hedging, joint taxation, controlled foreign corporations (CFC), and credit relief. Your tasks will initially only cover direct taxes (corporate and withholding), but you’ll get the opportunity to expand to indirect taxes over time if you want to.

Welcome to Global Tax
You’ll be part of Global Tax Compliance & Reporting where you, together with your colleagues, will work on complex Danish tax matters and on a variety of international projects whilst collaborating with your many colleagues. The team members are located in Denmark, Poland, the US, Germany, Taiwan, and the UK. The team collaborates and performs both direct and indirect compliance and reporting tasks, supplementing each other with valuable business knowledge. As a team, we’re energetic, ambitious, and caring. We challenge each other in order to increase quality and ensure internal development of the strong competencies across jurisdictions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • assisting with the preparation and review of Danish tax returns
  • assisting with tax compliance e.g. related to Group reporting
  • ensuring that domestic and international direct tax legislation is appropriately reflected in internal compliance processes
  • providing high-quality tax input to support our compliance and filing position
  • participating in identifying opportunities for our digital transformation journey.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have the bandwidth and skills to grasp, structure, and solve business challenges
  • have strong process improvement and accounting skills and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • take ownership and stay the course
  • have relevant experience from in-house positions, law firms, consultancy firms, tax advisors, or tax authorities
  • are approachable and fun to work with.
