Your role and responsibilities
We are recruiting the next Technical Account Manager role for Sleipner and Gudrun. (Equinor) We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to drive, maintain and further develop ABBs installed base on Sleipner and Gudrun. The technical Account Manager role is an important success factor for both ABB and the Customer to ensure selection of optimal technical solutions and strategies to support the integrity, operability and uptime of the vessels technical systems. The role is also an important interface between ABB, the customer’s technical organization and the M&M contractor engaged by the customer. The goal for Automation Service is to deliver a great service to our automation customers. Automation Service shall supply skilled and professional resources together with efficient processes and tools for project and service delivery. Your responsibilities • Technical Authority for contract deliverables • Maintain overview and knowledge of the plant's operations technology • Contribute to maintain plant Integrity, uptime and provide technology specific input for optimal life cycle planning of the plant assets • Analyzing field alerts, advice and initiate changes to control systems based on these • Responsible for input to CMDB (Configuration Management and Database Operation) • Find the best course of action for maintaining production and minimizing risk in a platform using legacy hardware • Collaboration with sales, contribute to scope of work definitions, estimation and ensure technical verification of bids/quotations. • Handling of 800xA field alerts, service packs, rollups or system patches installations, ensuring the SAS system is up to date • Responsible for the Evolution Planning Document and the Modification Handbook • Support on simulator • Support ABBs ServiceDesk in dealing with technical incidents related to plant • Maintain Sleipner and Gudrun test systems located at the ABB premises in Stavanger • Contribute to project deliveries to plant, this also includes offshore travel and site work. • Part of the Account team, working closely with the Project Managers and Account Manager to ensure quality in our deliverables and ensure customer satisfaction. • Create and maintain relationships with the customers technical organization.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Relevant work experience can compensate for formal education
  • Minimum 3 years experience from ABB
  • Experience as a technical lead and/or system expert is not required, but preferable
  • Knowledge of the Sleipner and Gudrun systems, including site specific knowledge and experience is preferable
  • Be able to support our customers and their contractors in troubleshooting of (but not limited to): System 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, PIMS, Server/Clients, Networks
  • Ability to travel offshore on sporadic basis
  • You have good leadership skills
  • You are structured and quality minded
  • You like collaborating with others
  • You communicate well with your co-workers and customers
  • You have high professional integrity
  • You are fluent in English or Norwegian
