We are Schibsted Marketing Services (SMS), a Nordic advertising organisation, representing some of the strongest brands across Norway and Sweden - like VG and Aftenposten in Norway, and Aftonbladet, SvD and Omni in Sweden.
Advertising plays a central role for the common News Media strategy and our goal is to strengthen the advertising position across our markets. To deliver on those goals, data quality and utilising data to personalise and improve the customer experience is key and your role is to manifest and secure data quality across the sales and invoicing process to support the organisation in delivering a state-of-the-art CRM-platform for our Scandinavian markets.

Our CRM team is at the heart of the organisation, enabling seamless customer interactions and driving business growth across all SMS markets. We ensure CRM is the go-to platform for sales, marketing, and service, providing actionable insights that support daily operations. By collaborating with stakeholders, we leverage customer data to enhance performance, explore new features, and stay ahead in the B2B market. We believe qualitative data is key to insights, successful communication, and growth and committed to maintaining data quality, ensuring GDPR compliance. We therefore play a crucial role in future strategies for automated communication and customer segmentation.

We collaborate with stakeholders across SMS, product areas, sales, marketing, finance, and BI teams, where communication, collaboration, and transparency are essential to our success.

What you will do:
We are a global team always exploring new ways to harness customer data. You’ll be at the forefront, educating, analyzing, and optimizing processes and tools to create a data-driven, customized customer experience, taking our platform to new heights!

You will:

  • Be overall responsible for the invoice process within the SMS system stack and CRM platform and the need for system support, ensuring everything aligns with our overall CRM strategy.
  • You will manage and prioritise the backlog for the invoicing area, identifying business needs by effectively engaging stakeholders to support and keep developing a cutting-edge tool to enhance the customer experience across the CRM-platform.
  • You’ll ensure the right customer data and promote data quality across our organisation, working closely with the business teams.
  • You play an important role in analysing and educating how financial data can enrich sales and marketing processes, enhancing the customer journey.
  • To some extent you will configure and administer the platform, contribute to product development, and support stakeholders in implementing and enhancing invoicing processes.
  • An important part is also to set and maintain best practices and guidelines for securing master data in CRM.

You will be part of the SMS CRM-team as one of three product owners and report to the Head of CRM. You will also work closely with our CRM/Data specialists, Business architect and our development team located in Poland.

Who you are:
We are looking for a goal-oriented team player who wants to grow and develop their experience as a data analyst, platform specialist, product owner or the like.

  • 2+ years of experience working with CRM on the functional side and have knowledge about the solution itself and/or been working with product development.
  • Interest and skills in analytics and customer master data
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in creating good relationships and working closely with Stakeholders with different skills
  • Great communications skills and fluent in English and either Swedish or Norwegian, both oral and written.
  • A problem-solving mindset and structured and thorough approach

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience working with CRM-sales modules such as Dynamics CRM
  • Experience working with analytic tools such as PowerBI or Tableau (or similar)
  • Understanding and experience working with sales and/or invoicing processes
  • Worked within B2B environment
