Job Description
Want to Kickstart Your Career in Supply Chain? Join us as a Student Worker in Global Capacity Planning!
This is your unique chance to get a up close and personal with the core planning processes of a truly global manufacturing organization, while building up the business acumen and skills that will likely serve as the foundation for your future career.

Core Responsibilities
You will support our team in variety of tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Build confidence with your own responsibilities, including weekly and monthly reporting tasks to key stakeholders informing decision-making on critical topics like air freight, bottlenecks and excess inventory.
  • Engage in various projects and initiatives together with the team, contributing your analytical and communication skills. In time you might also run your own projects, like deep diving on root cause analysis or proposing process improvement.
  • Enhance your understanding of supply chain processes by assisting your colleagues with preparing presentation material, performing system checks, mapping business processes and analysing data from the SAP system and other sources.

Play your part in our team succeeding
You will become a valued colleague in Global Capacity Planning, a Billund-based department with +30 specialists and leaders working together across different teams on securing the right level of capacity across key operational areas such as moulding, processing, packing and distribution.

The plans continually need to adapt to changing circumstances in an increasing complex and dynamic world. Honestly, there are days where the coffee ends up cold because suddenly a container ship with components is stuck in the Suez Canal, while our packing sites are in the middle of transitioning from plastic to paper bags, and with the news that our newly launched product is selling way above forecasts. How will we make sure there is still enough products on the shelfs for everyone to get their holiday present?

As a student worker, you will be helping us get those products on the shelf by supporting your colleagues in their different processes with analysing supply and demand changes, building reporting tools and making decision recommendations based on your excellent storytelling and communication skills. Expect your role to shift and grow over time to match your individual development journey.

Do you have what it takes?

  • It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.
  • You are pursuing a Bachelors (4th semester and beyond) or have started a master’s degree. You should have at least one year left on your education.

  • You have analytical hands-on approach and know your way around an Excel sheet. Experience with Power BI is a strong advantage.
