Manager for the Health, Safety & Environment team Lumsås

Are you motivated by creating a safe and sustainable work environment? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HSE manager to lead our HSE team in Lumsås.

Your future team

The team that you will be leading is dedicated and dynamic, they work closely together every day to optimize our HSE area on the site.

Environmental applications, environmental conditions, risk supervision, contact with authorities, municipalities and regions are handled by the team, just as emergency exercises and other things are orchestrated from here.

The team supports the safety culture at the site and helps with near-misses and accidents, as well as derived cause investigations, action plans and risk assessments. Major HSE events, planning and execution of these are also handled by the team.

Coordination of activities related to the environment and working environment, e.g. BTR sampling and much more.

The team is characterized by being highly specialized and self-driven and takes great honor and responsibility for their work and all are very skilled.

You are expected to be a visible leader who actively interacts and communicates with the other areas of the site and ensures that the team's priorities support the site's challenges.

You will be part of the management team in the Chemical Production Development department. A natural interface is also Lundbeck Corporate HSE's department in Valby, from where you are expected to ensure the implementation of initiatives at the Lumsås site together with the team.

  • You will be responsible for the implementation of HSE initiatives and actively promote HSE and lead by example.
  • We need an empathetic leader who is skilled and can set a clear direction. Your leadership style fits well with a highly specialized and well-functioning team that thrives on values such as openness, honesty and safe dialogue. You can coach the team to even more success through the goals you have set for the area.
  • Professionalism is important and you bring deep knowledge about current Danish legislation and practice.
  • You are expected to be able to work with the team's tasks and find joy in this alongside the management task.
  • You see the importance of integrating the HSE group into the overall picture in Lumsås.
  • It is not a requirement that you have worked in the pharmaceutical industry, but if you have worked with the external environment, working environment and preferably with the Risk/Seveso area, it will be relevant.
  • You can work strategically with a high professional level and ensure the implementation of strategy and make relevant goals and action plans that ensure that we get things done.

We offer

The Lumsås site is a chemical production that produces the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in the majority of Lundbeck's pharmaceuticals.

The site is categorized as a column 3 risk company and thus subject to the Executive Order on Risk ‘ risiko bekendtgørelsen’. In addition, the site is certified according to ISO14001 and ISO45001. Our production is subject to GMP and the resulting applicable regulations.
