A Day in the Life
Are you ready to make a profound impact on healthcare systems? Join us as a Senior Consultant at Medtronic HIS (Integrated Health Solutions) and become a driving force in revolutionizing patient care. As a seasoned Medtronic IHS Senior Consultant, you'll embark on a journey that entails engaging with clinical staff and key hospital stakeholders.

In this role, you will be the architect of change. You'll navigate the entire spectrum of transformation by seamlessly blending strategic insights with tactical prowess. Be it conceptualizing innovative solutions, orchestrating change management, or steering the long-term implementation, you'll be at the heart of it all.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partner with strategic hospital accounts to drive complex transformational changes, implement innovative growth strategies, optimize operations, and improve collaboration, mindset, and culture at several levels in the organization.
  • Deliver on major complex projects involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.
  • Identify, frame, and prioritize initiatives to capture value, establishing a roadmap, and develop actionable plans and project portfolios for immediate improvement and cost savings.
  • Stakeholder management across the organizational levels and a solid understanding of the client's values and beliefs.
  • The projects that can be multifarious and comprehensive. Examples of projects are optimizing room utilization, ensuring optimal planning and scheduling processes, and improving patient flow and patient pathways.
  • Capture learning and best practices and continuously enrich the Medtronic consulting toolbox.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • A master's degree and a minimum of four years of relevant consulting experience
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel) to understand customer needs through consulting engagements
  • Fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written)
  • Problem-solving mindset and change management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in how to work and communicate in international environments, preferably in a matrix organisation
  • Experience in understanding of the Nordic healthcare system, including funding models, patient flows, decision-making processes, etc.
  • Certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, Prince2 etc
