Senior Embedded Software Architect

We are looking for an embedded software architect to join the Headsets R&D department in Ballerup. You will be part of the embedded software team consisting of 20 dedicated engineers. Together, we are responsible for specification, design, implementation, and testing of embedded software for GN Audio's Enterprise Bluetooth, DECT and USB products.

What will you be doing?
Your mission will be to develop and maintain GN Audio's software platforms for current and future products. You will make life sound better through products like the Jabra Evolve2 Buds and the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex .

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Architect to join our team of architects and guide the technical direction for our innovative headset products. You will participate in creating the overall software architecture of our embedded products and best practices for implementation. Ideally you also have experience with modern CI/CD allowing you to architect the best setup together with our internal DevOps team. Through the close partnership with our engineering teams, you will ensure the successful execution of software projects and support innovation.

• Architecting the Future: You will participate in creating software architecture and development of innovative solutions for our headsets, taking ownership from defining requirements to designing efficient, high-quality, and reusable software.
• Staying Ahead of the Curve: In this fast-paced industry, you will keep abreast of the latest advancements in wireless networks, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies. You will proactively provide valuable recommendations on incorporating these technologies to enhance product performance and functionality.
• Significant Experience with C/C++ and Embedded Systems on Small Micro-controllers: Your in-depth knowledge of building embedded products and choosing the right programming languages and development tools will be crucial. Leverage your professional programming experience you create architecture and designs with clean interfaces and modular design. We value extensive knowledge of embedded product development, operating systems, and micro-controllers. Expertise in Bluetooth, BLE, and LE Audio is also a major plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills
