We are seeking a dedicated Sales Manager based in the Nordics with a passion for rare diseases to join our team, driving commercial strategy and specialist engagements.

As a Sales Manager, you will represent Abacus Medicine Pharma Services (AMPS) in the field, developing strong relationships with KOLs, Healthcare Providers, Pharmacists, and other stakeholders in the hospital and medical setting. Your goal will be to ensure patients' access to our products and maximize the potential of key accounts/hospitals in the region. This position requires strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within the complex hospital environment.

You will report to the VP of Sales & Operations, who is based in Denmark.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establish and maintain valuable business relationships with key decision-makers in priority accounts.
  • Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships with and pharmacists, serving as their local point of contact.
  • Support and contribute to insights-based account plans for all top accounts/treatment centers.
  • Drive and be accountable for sales in the assigned hospital accounts.
  • Ensure all activities comply with the National Code of Conduct and Ethics as well as the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Lead the implementation of customer-focused and patient-centered tactics and activities within the territory, in partnership with internal stakeholders. This includes running promotional/educational meetings, supporting local symposia and hospital meetings, providing promotional literature, and connecting with external experts.
  • Collaborate with AMPS Medical Teams to ensure a cohesive understanding of account strategies, delivery of account plans, and development of first-class relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with AMPS Market Access experts to support hospital/region funding processes.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting and presentation of account plans, including KPIs, to leadership, and maintain accurate records in the CRM database.
  • Represent your territory in regular territory reviews and account plan discussions.

Fuel for your success in the role:

  • LIF certification or equivalent
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry/healthcare, preferably within rare diseases, with a sustained track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Understanding of national and regional healthcare systems across the Nordics, including reimbursement processes.
  • An influential presentation style with the ability to uncover and address customer needs, and effectively manage customer concerns and questions.
  • Self-motivation with a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Strong business, analytical, and clinical acumen.
  • Fluency in English and one Nordic language, both spoken and written.
