We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Copenhagen. You’ll take ownership of our frontend architecture, guiding our product teams to deliver elegant and efficient solutions for our e-commerce and community platforms, impacting millions of users worldwide. 🌍

You’ll not only join one of our Product Teams but also have the opportunity to work with and help other frontend devs with delivering both to a high standard of quality and a delightful user experience in all product teams!

The Road Ahead

• Support the transition to Shopify, ensuring seamless integration and scalability for future growth.

• Work in upcoming product teams to drive key initiatives, whether in eCommerce or Crafters & Designers, to enhance user experience and achieve critical business metrics.
• Help us build a flexible front-end architecture that enables the rapid addition of new features without the need for large-scale refactoring.
• Innovate by optimizing the customer journey and creating impactful solutions that align with our evolving product and community platforms.

Your Expertise (in order of importance)

• Skilled Communicator & Collaborator: You excel in articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while working cross-functionally with product, design, and backend to ensure seamless integration and shared goals.
• Product Impact: You take a product-driven approach to development, aligning your work with business goals and focusing on delivering features that enhance user experience and drive results.
• Seasoned Frontend Developer: You bring 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
• Extensive Experience: You’ve crafted and contributed to large-scale or distributed frontend projects.
• JavaScript Mastery: You have deep expertise in JavaScript, with bonus points for experience in TypeScript.
• Framework Proficiency: You’re well-versed in one or more frameworks like React or Vue, including their design patterns.
• Testing Excellence: You have strong experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or similar.

Our frontend tech stack currently features a blend of Liquid templating, TypeScript, Vue, and React, styled with Tailwind CSS and built with StorybookJS, all interacting with an ApolloJS GraphQL API.

We also incorporate Shopify App development, with Laravel serving as the backbone.

Your Fellow Adventurers

Your immediate colleagues will include your cross-functional peers across frontend, backend, and mobile technologies, and a Product Manager and Designer. You’ll report to your team’s Engineering Lead and be part of a broader group of Frontend engineers across teams.

Hobbii’s Tech team is about 30 strong and diverse, with 10+ nationalities represented, which leads to interesting lunch conversations.
Outside work, we enjoy bonding over board games, lots of cake, pool tournaments, and daily plank exercises.
