Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Our portfolio consists of various hemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. Role summary
As a Senior OT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our hybrid OT-environment. This role involves maintaining the stability, security, and performance of OT-systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure continued compliance with GxP-regulations, guidelines and internal procedures
• Manage and maintain OT-infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems across multiple sites
• Implement measures to protect OT-systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure OT alignment and integration
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
• Conduct system performance tuning and capacity planning
• Participate in OT projects e.g. implementation of SCADA-solutions
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in OT system administration in a regulated industry
• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security measures
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
