IT Infrastructure Project Manager

As a Project Manager in IT Operations, you will delve into the technical facets of projects while managing both strategic and tactical initiatives. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the stability of daily operations. You will manage projects that span various platforms and technologies, engaging with stakeholders both within Salling Group and externally.

Climate is one of our five focus areas at Salling Group, and we always prioritize sustainability, in both new solutions and improvements to existing ones. A key objective for our IT operations, is to be completely climate-neutral by 2028. To achieve this goal, we have initiated several projects, , including the migration of our SAP platform to a data center that offers the highest levels of sustainability and scalability.

In Operations we of course also have our focus on ensuring that our solutions is running on stable platforms, performing at a very high level, and adhere to best practices. We aim to ensure that our systems are always accessible to our 60,000+ employees, providing the best possible shopping expeience for our numerous customers.

We are constantly working on projects to keep our IT infrastructure fully up-to-date. Currently, we are implementing a new network strategy, upgrading our Point of Sale infrastructure, and rolling out the Salling Group Modern Workplace on our PC platform.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Startup of projects and clarify technical aspects, setup the best possible framework for the execution
• Professional and independent handling of projects, with focus on creating value for the business and deliver accordingly on agreed scope, finance and timeframe
• Stakeholder management
• Co-operation with the Scrum Teams as well as external vendors
• Deliver projects for the daily operation to make sure you and your project resources can move on to new and exciting projects
• Be a part of the ongoing development of the Project methodology in Salling Group

Who are you?
We expect you to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Simultaneously, you should maintain a strong focus on delivering the best possible results without neglecting important daily responsibilities.
Furthermore, we would like you to:

• Have 3-5 years as a Project Manager, primarily inside the IT Infrastructure area
• Prefer a working day with a lot of different working partners and business areas – but with an overall base in Technical Project management
• Be curious on technic and IT Infrastructure and able to also think this into Operations processes
• Possess a high ambition level and aim to deliver the best solution and service for our internal and external customers
• Be able to work independently and in teams, and be able to make fast decisions based on facts
• Be able to solve challenges proactively and be able to take the lead when necessary
• Be able to speak and write fluent in English

It is an advantage if you got experience in Retail, Operation ITIL, Store operations, and are familiar with Scrum.
