At our Group HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Sourcing & Procurement, more specifically the CAPEX procurement team, currently comprising 8 highly skilled colleagues.

This is the role
You will, together with one specialised colleague, be primarily responsible for the contracting of resources for construction work and services.

Your key tasks will be to:

• In cooperation with the project manager to formulate a strategy for the procurement of the work and services necessary to complete the construction project.
• Prepare project specific contract templates in conformity with ROCKWOOL Group policy, customs, and best practice, typically based on recognised international contract forms.
• Identify a sufficient number of qualified potential contractors for each task, ensuring a competitive procurement situation.
• Run tenders via our e-procurement platform, and together with the Project Manager handle communication during the tender period, evaluate offers, make a negotiation strategy, negotiate with contractors, formulate a contract award recommendation, and prepare the contracts.
• Participate in contract management during the execution of the contracts.

Secondarily, you will also be expected to run tenders for procurement of production equipment.

This is what you offer
In this position, it is important that you are ambitious on behalf of the project you will be working on, are able to work independently and at the same time work in a group, as the success of a CAPEX project depends on good cooperation in the project group.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

• Have experience in international procurement
• Have experience in managing complex international construction contracts and disputes
• Have experience in managing international industrial construction projects as a project manager, project engineer, quantity surveyor or site manager
• Have experience from working on the contractor side
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and oral
• Have good IT user skills
