Are you an experienced accountant specialized in VAT? We have an exciting opportunity for you at an international pharmaceutical company. Genmab's Accounting Operation Team is looking for a colleague for a temporary position until the end of April 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Your primary tasks will include:
VAT Compliance – Monitoring changes in tax legislation, advising on VAT implications for business activities, and implementing necessary changes.

VAT Reporting – Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

VAT Accounting – Ensuring accruals and corrections are booked correctly, following closing procedures, and preparing account reconciliations.

Tax Audits – Collaborating with auditors during tax audits.

Cross-functional Collaboration – Working closely with other departments at Genmab.

The profile we're looking for:

• You have 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company.
• You hold a BA or BS degree.
• You are a certified accountant (CA or CPA) or have an MBA.
• You have solid experience in VAT compliance and reporting.
• You have strong reporting and controlling skills.
• You bring a can-do attitude and energy to your work.

Practical information:
Start date: As soon as possible, but we are willing to wait for the right candidate.

Duration: Until April 30, 2025, with a good possibility for extension (candidates unable to commit for the full duration will not be considered).

Working hours: 37 per week.

Location: Carl Jacobsens Vej 30, 2500 Copenhagen.

Salary: According to qualifications.
