We are offering an exciting opportunity as Manager of Maintenance Systems Support to be an important part in paving the way for Vattenfall towards Fossil Freedom!

The Manager of Maintenance Systems Support is responsible for the performance of the Maintenance Systems Support team, ensuring efficient management of operations and optimisation in providing support on systems towards the business for our offshore assets.

In this role you will support the Head of Supply Chain & Maintenance Systems and stakeholders within Supply Chain and Generation, to realize business objectives while ensuring compliance, as well as helping them with their business and operational objectives related to maintenance systems.

You will be managing and developing a highly competent team to ensure it is optimally set up to encourage the team’s development and performance, achieving the desired results both for the company and for the employees concerned. Your responsibilities as Manager of Maintenance Systems Support

  • Work with Head of Supply Chain and Maintenance Systems to continuously develop, update and implement strategies and tactical activities that support the business objectives and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure the performance of employees within the team by ensuring efficient stakeholder management on work interfaces, as well as reviewing budget, resources, and development needs.
  • Ensure that processes and maintenance system solution is complete and continuously improved, set strategically, supportable, and with high quality which enables users to execute their roles in the systems.
  • Ensure work management of incident and change requests via the established ticketing system.
  • Maintain system testing and support documentation, including processes and system blueprint, user instructions, test scripts, and training materials
  • Determine and ensure that changes are supportable.
  • Support Maintenance Systems Improvement team and Master Data to deliver to the business the solutions and support of SAP PM, MM, and connected systems, such as Neptune, SOI, External Access, etc.
  • Provide system support, and pro-actively share with Systems Improvement team sustainable improvements ideas, including supporting Supply Chain and Maintenance Systems in the establishment/improvement of a ticketing system that caters to key stakeholders' needs in collaboration with Maintenance Systems Support.
  • Provide input to Maintenance Systems Improvement and Master Data teams to ensure a standardised process and systems solution and enable the continuous improvement of maintenance systems.
  • Continuously optimise systems use and manage the expectation of support to users through SLAs.
  • Ensure that users have sufficient knowledge thru trainings, dialogues and continuous updates, to properly execute their roles in the system.
  • Provide efficient and customer-oriented systems support to stakeholders such as teams in Supply Chain and Maintenance Systems, Operations/Sites, and work with internal suppliers such as IT, Master Data, Systems Improvement and others, to ensure that support is provided and solutions are in place.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or master's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 8 years of experience from working a similar position in the energy sector or a technical industry. Offshore/onshore wind knowledge from a development, project or O&M role is a merit
  • A proven track record within system solutions
  • IT-Systems knowledge in SAP PM/MM, SAP Integration software e.g., Neptune, mobile maintenance solutions or similar
  • Extensive experience in technical and operation and maintenance
  • Ability to lead international teams, driving a performance culture and development of key skills and knowledge is considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing in English are essential, good language skills in Swedish or Danish are a plus

To succeed in this roll you need to be an effective and persuasive communicator who is comfortable with presenting, building relationships and influencing others, while working effectively across diverse cultures and geographical locations. You need to be team player who supports and drives shared objectives through openness and a continuous improvement mindset, all while having health and safety as the highest priority.

Location: Kolding in Denmark is the preferred location, but Solna in Stockholm Sweden is also possible.
