Your role and responsibilities
ABB is a supplier of solutions for increased productivity and energy efficiency. ABB Industrial Automation provide safety and automation systems, IT-solutions, drives and electrical systems, telecommunication systems and instrumentation to onshore and offshore installations. We deliver solutions to a wide variety of industries e.g. aluminium, cement, chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, metal, mining, energy, power generation and pulp & paper. ABB’s Industrial Automation-operations in Norway are located in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Hammerfest and Stord. In ABB Stavanger we currently support several fixed installations in the North Sea with our products and services. The work is project based where a project can last from 1 week and up to several years. We are now looking for new members for our automation team in Stavanger. The daily work will include one or more of following: • Programming of ABB controllers including process control, process shutdown, emergency shutdown, Fire&Gas detection systems and Human Machine Interface. • Design of Hardware solutions for control system cabinets based on customer requirements and input. • Work together with our customers to find the best technical solutions. • Testing together with customers and installation offshore.

Qualifications for the role

• Graduate in 2025 with a Master, Bachelor or similar
• You are interested to learn about our technology
• You like working in teams with others and to share your knowledge
• English fluent, oral, and written. Norwegian is an advantage
• Experience from automation or electrical systems is an advantage
