As Managing Director, you are a passionate people manager. You will foster a positive and engaging work environment, aiming to make Emerson Marine Solutions "the best place to work." You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet Emerson's profitability and performance goals. You will focus on metrics like asset management, quality assurance, employee safety, and customer satisfaction, creating tactical plans that align with Emerson Marine Solutions' broader business strategy. Moreover, you will oversee all critical operational functions, including manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, sales, finance, and human resources, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will maintain high standards in safety, environmental compliance, and facility maintenance to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets. Additionally, you will maintain and build key customer relationships, ensuring Emerson Marine Solutions remains a trusted industry partner. Your role will involve enhancing customer service levels and supply chain lead times while supporting sales leaders in maintaining a customer-centric focus.
As Managing Director you will become a member of the Global Marine Leadership Team.
Passionate leader with global marine experience
For this position, you are expected to bring a solid background from a production and sales company, preferable from the marine industry, with at least five years of general management experience in multicultural environments. Likewise, you have extensive experience in managing high-level, global stakeholders, paired with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a solid grasp of financial and management data. Additionally, you are expected to be skilled at identifying and monitoring key financial indicators and propose strategies that enhance outcomes. Your problem-solving approach should be meticulous, analyzing diverse information to make informed decisions that drive performance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate across various functions and levels. Fluency in Danish and English is required, along with a willingness to travel as needed.
