The Position
Our project portfolio is constantly growing in the Assembly area of Device Manufacturing Development. We are thus looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead our business strategic lifecycle management projects to success and bring Novo Nordisk at the forefront of technology and innovation.
In this position, you will lead and support one or multiple manufacturing technology projects, transfers and changes. As project manager in the Assembly team, you will be in charge of initiating, executing, and finalizing projects within our project execution framework. A key aspect of this position is acting as the link between work groups, steering groups, project owners, project governance, and key stakeholders. Reporting and communicating across various levels of the business is a critical part of project management.

As part of your main responsibilities, you will:
• Collaborate closely with our colleagues in Device Manufacturing Development, Devices and Delivery Solutions and our Finished Product Manufacturing organization to understand and specify manufacturing equipment requirements to ensure that we implement manufacturing technology that solves our challenges on existing assembly lines and fits future production setup.
• Lead one or more projects related to identifying issues, finding solutions and implementing new technical solutions on our existing running assembly lines.
• Coordinate project activities involving a wide range of highly skilled engineers and specialists.
• Set budget and secure delivery according to plan.
• Lead, develop and inspire the project team as well as handling stakeholder managers (which includes presentation to steering group.
Finally, as a member of the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives.
Your tasks lie within a global manufacturing development organisation, with expected travel of 10+ days a year, to interact with suppliers and local production sites.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in manufacturing, engineering or similar combined with at least 3 years track record as a project manager.
• Previous experience with production, process development and implementation of production equipment within a GMP regulated industry.
• Broad expertise in utilizing various project tools and effective project reporting.
• Technical flair and interest to engage with technical projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

You have strong execution, communication and collaboration skills and a proven ability to collaborate within a complex organisation. You easily build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. Besides, you have a clear understanding of what it means to boost your work performance and take a step forward to make the difference on the journey.

About the department
Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) is responsible of the industrialisation of all medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the product, developing, and implementing the production equipment at the production site all over the world, and developing innovative and digital solutions to our processes. You will be joining the fast-growing DMD Assembly department which will consist of 65 dedicated employees and 4 specific and complementary teams.
