About the Role
We offer you the chance to become a part of the Business Logistics team as a Demand Planner. Our role is to manage and optimize the Business Logistics within the region according to the business requirements. Business Logistics is a function within the Sales and Marketing organization for Consumer Goods Region North. You will have a key role in the Demand Planning team of the Business Logistic organization to translate commercial needs for Sweden and Norway into accurate demand plans in terms of forecasting towards producing organizations to fulfil our Swedish and Norwegian customer’s needs.

The position is permanent, based in Gothenburg with starting date as soon as possible. Essity offers the opportunity of a hybrid working model. This role reports to the Regional Demand Manager.

What You Will Do

• Generate accurate base and promotional demand plans at multiple levels of aggregation for the sales organizations Sweden and Norway in SAP IBP.
• Analyze all relevant data to deliver accurate demand plans to ensure efficient supply chain execution and fulfilment of our customer needs.
• Secure the local understanding and agreement on the demand planning processes with the commercial organizations.
• Lead the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process by leading the demand reviews together with Commercial teams according to the agreed S&OP guidelines.
• Establish systematic analysis to understand the main drivers for deviations, secure that root cause analysis is done, deviations are defined, and action plans are carried out to improve defined Key Performance Indicators like Forecast Accuracy and Bias.
• Secure excellent SAP IBP master and Life Cycle Management data handling by regular data updates and History/CVC cleaning.
• Drive and secure an excellent Phase in / Phase out process to avoid leftovers and service level issues.
• Market lead of the monthly non & slow mover process for the sales organizations Sweden and Norway.
• Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement opportunities in relation to demand planning.

We expect you to be a self-driven person with the capability to work and communicate efficiently in teams with different cultures and environments, strong inter-personal skills are crucial in this role. You enjoy working with digitalization and improvements and have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset in everything you do. Furthermore, you are comfortable at making decisions and prioritizing your time effectively.

• University degree in Business administration or similar (bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement)
• Experience working with Demand/Supply Planning in a similar role
• Ability to use Excel as a tool for decision making in various complex analysis
• Experience of S&OP process is a plus
• Previous experience of SAP APO/IBP or similar ERP system is a plus
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (+ Swedish is an advantage)
