For our Mold Design department, we are looking for a Team Lead to join us in Aalborg, Denmark. As the Team Lead of Mold Design, you will lead, develop, and motivate a group of dedicated employees and professionals; ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures; provide suitable work environment; and oversee resources and budgets.

How to contribute to our vision:
In short, the job tasks will include:

• Leading and motivating a team of approximately 20 Engineers.
• Ensuring competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding, and tracking of development.
• Being the first point of contact for any issues, personal as well as professional, and provide the psychological safety mindset needed for the team to feel supported.
• Driving Siemens Gamesa safety culture based on knowledge and requirements of legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Improving and optimizing processes and “routines” for the team to meet its full potential through the implementation of new initiatives.
• Liaising with other engineering functions and departments.
• Overall responsibility for team operations and performance within Mold Design department.
• Supporting your team members in their individual development and growth.
• Overseeing team development including recruitment and training.

What you need to make a difference:
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, ideally in mold design, mold manufacturing, or composites.
• Experience with people management and leading a team of engineers.
• Experience with creating training plans and overseeing people development.
• It is an advantage to have knowledge of ANSYS, MATLAB, CATIA, NX, or similar software.

As a person, we are looking for a motivating leader and team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You must be good at good at managing different stakeholders and know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.

You must also be available for a certain amount of travelling, up to 25% of your working time.
