About the job
Orifarm works in a business area where supply shortage is rather the rule than the exception. In this environment, your goal as a procurement specialist is to ensure the best possible deals in a combination of price and volume. In close cooperation with the Area Manager of South Europe, you will be responsible for diverse procurement responsibilities while building and sustaining close relationships with the suppliers.

Additional tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Facilitating internal sourcing requests
• Execute on new opportunities before our competitors, providing creative solutions without compromising your daily structure
• Place orders, negotiate, and visit the suppliers while participating in trade fairs
• Drive the dialogue with the suppliers and internal stakeholders and ensure continuous strong partnerships
• Optimise and develop the portfolio in close collaboration with the department to make the best decisions

In this position, you can expect approx. 30-40 travelling days per year across Europe visiting our suppliers, etc. You will report to the Area Manager, Procurement, Haris Basic.

An outgoing profile with a high commercial drive
Your background is less important than your personality as long as you are self-driven, eager to make a difference, and have a trading mindset with a relational touch. We are open to recent graduates and candidates with several years of experience, preferably in commercial positions like procurement or key account management.

As a professional, you are proactive in your approach and possess great drive, combined with initiative and flexibility, which enables you to challenge the status quo, identify new opportunities, and drive improvements. You are organized with strong planning, problem-solving, and time management skills.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effortlessly in English to ensure effective collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.

The Procurement department is responsible for handling and ensuring the optimal combination of price and volume when purchasing pharmaceuticals for our parallel import business area. You will be part of a team consisting of + 35 motivated and highly qualified employees with a dynamic work attitude.
