As our new Senior Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we are at the forefront of the regulatory landscape in banking technology. You’ll report to Måns Österlund, Head of Compliance and work closely with our teams across Aarhus, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, helping drive compliance in areas like AI governance, IT security, and data protection. For this role, we’re looking for someone to join us in our Flagship office in Copenhagen.

What will you do?

• Lead and drive compliance initiatives focused on key areas such as AI governance, IT security and third-party risk management.
• Take ownership of the Compliance team’s work related to IT security and data protection, ensuring Lunar’s systems and processes are state-of-the-art and secure.
• Collaborate with our teams to ensure our AI and tech-driven solutions meet compliance standards.
• Monitor and assess tech-related compliance risks, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations in relation to AI and IT security.
• Plan, execute, and report on compliance activities with a strong focus on technology-driven processes.
• Engage closely with the business and tech departments to ensure a culture of compliance is embedded throughout the organization.
• Serve as a sparring partner in all things related to compliance, particularly tech, AI, and IT security.
• Have a direct impact on the way we build secure and compliant technology.

• 5+ years of experience with specific expertise in IT security, data protection, and compliance within the financial sector.
• A strong background in compliance from either the 1st or 2nd line, with experience in regulatory roles focused on tech or similar fields.
• with a tech-driven approach and understanding of the compliance landscape around IT security.
• An interest in advancing the Compliance function's AI agenda to enhance the efficiency of the compliance program.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder, with fluency in both English and Danish.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing tech environment, always seeking new and innovative ways to approach challenges.
• Independent and proactive, able to lead compliance projects while collaborating with tech teams and specialists.
