About the role
As our new Treasury Manager, you will get an exciting opportunity to develop your competencies in a professional and dynamic organisation with a high degree of knowledge sharing and sparring. Tasks will vary in nature, both in terms of content and duration, but you will among other things:

• Handle DFDS’ daily liquidity in various currencies
• Manage and hedge interest rate risks, bunker risks, ETS risks and currency risks
• Support and execute decisions related to DFDS’ funding strategy including bank facilities, ship financing, bond issuances and maintenance of DFDS’ credit rating
• Conduct financial analysis to senior management
• Work with our shared service center team in Poznan to optimize our cash management set-up

In the role, you will play a key part in relation to strategic priorities such as funding and hedging strategies while also being involved in the daily operations which means that you will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our banks, and trade on behalf of DFDS. In addition, you will interact frequently with senior internal stakeholders and stakeholders across DFDS’ business in Europe and in Turkey.

Placed at our new headquarters at Marmormolen in Copenhagen, you will be part of Group Treasury which consists of a team of 7 people based in both Denmark and in Istanbul, Turkey.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position has:

• 2-5 years of experience from a corporate Treasury function or the banking sector
• Strong financial analysis skills and experience with financial risk management
• A master's degree in Economics, Finance or Business

You will be engaging with many different stakeholders; thus, it is important that you can handle different priorities simultaneously while having an eye for details and delivering projects on time.

In addition, you enjoy challenging the status quo, you can make complexities easy to understand in written and spoken English and you love to work in a team and have fun while doing it.
