The role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO Manager to join our team. You will report directly to the Head of the department and will play a crucial role in leading and managing key initiatives to enhance our P&O Digital Delivery Setup (DDS). As an ideal candidate we expect you to have a strong background in project management, experience with agile, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvements.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage major improvement initiatives to the P&O Digital Delivery Setup (DDS), ensuring on-time delivery, within scope, and within budget
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies and risks across multiple teams and initiatives
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance portfolio transparency through regular status reports and dashboards
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with PMO objectives and facilitate effective communication
  • Lead change management initiatives to support the transition to a hybrid delivery model
  • Create and conduct training sessions on PMO processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Act as a change agent and drive continuous improvements

Candidate profile

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a PMO or similar environment
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and digital delivery setups
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in change management and process improvement
  • It would be considered as a plus if you have a previous experience with driving HR IT projects in international environments

You excel in collaborating across functions and international boundaries, effectively coaching and engaging project team members. With a proactive and self-motivated approach, you take ownership of tasks and initiate actions. Your communication skills allow you to convey complex matters to stakeholders with ease. You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. You confidently interact with senior management, persistently overcoming obstacles. Your ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize ensures a healthy work-life balance.

The strategic focus of HR DD&IT is to develop and implement world class HR IT systems in close collaboration with People & Organisation (P&O). The area is anchored within Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and team members are placed closely to P&O stakeholders for optimal collaboration. We work according to agile principles to efficiently support P&O’s digitalisation journey.
