About the role
To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire an IT Risk Associate for our office in Copenhagen, who can assist in the continual improvement of our ICT risk posture through varied activities, including risk assessments and reporting, assurance reviews, maintaining risk and information security frameworks and KRI management, whilst ensuring compliance with internal requirement and regulation.

You will be reporting to the Global Information Security Officer and be a part of ICT Risk team

What you will be doing

  • Work as part of a team to continuously improve Information security framework of the organisation;
  • ​Support the Risk team in delivering Information Security projects and initiatives;
  • ​Assist with the different types of risk assessments of Banking Circle’s IT landscape and following mitigating actions;
  • Assist with the ongoing efforts to remain compliant with ISO 27001, as well as applicable information security and risk management industry best practices and applicable laws and regulations; and,
  • ​Provide subject matter expertise and advice across Banking Circle.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have completed a security/IT related degree or have 1-3 years of relevant experience. Ideally you have worked in a similar role within finance, insurance, or another highly regulated sector where you have worked within risk, audit, compliance, or governance.

Although this is not a technical role, a good understanding of technical security controls and risk concepts is required. Preferably you should hold, or be working towards a risk, IT, or security related qualification (ISO27001, CISA/CRISC, etc.).

It would be a great advantage if you have experience with Office 365 and awareness of industry best practice, IT Risk landscape and relevant regulations.

You have a ‘questioning’ mind-set and take initiative to propose new ways of working and strive for constant improvement of current processes.

You show flexibility when taking both structured and unstructured assignments and you can successfully handle multiple tasks under pressure. And you are able to differentiate what is important, develop appropriate action plans and demonstrate ownership. Besides, you take accountability for improving your own performance.

You have strong communication skills, and you are able to present complex concepts in a simple and understandable way.

As a person you are a quick learner, innovative and analytical, you are able to work independently and show courage by not being afraid to speak your mind. You are also able to work in a team with a constructive and solutions-oriented attitude. Also, you have a high degree of organisation, individual initiative, and personal accountability.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.
