We are on the lookout for a Software Architect to join our team and work with one of our largest customers, with a large and complex system landscape. This is not just any system – it's performing critical tasks on a global scale, so the potential for growth and problem-solving is great.

You will work closely together our team of architects in the Technology department and with the dev teams to find and implement the solutions,

Shape the future of Technology and Architecture
Together with the Technology team, you will lead our efforts to create new cloud-native software, modernize legacy systems, and bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and existing infrastructure. You will also be directly involved in building new software from the ground up, ensuring a seamless integration of architecture and innovation.

Furthermore, your tasks will include:

• Working to understand current legacy systems and the complex system landscape.
• Collaborating with our team to find pragmatic solutions that bridge the gap between modern tech and legacy systems.
• Leading the charge in improving and modernizing our architecture.
• Balancing staying up-to-date with the latest tech trends while keeping an overview of legacy systems.

What we are Looking for
We are looking for you who:

• Possess strong knowledge of public cloud architecture and computing, preferably Azure.
• Have hands-on experience with containerization.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of modern processes like DevOps.
• Exhibit a pragmatic, hands-on approach - we're not looking for ivory tower architects!

Bonus points if you know about legacy systems like AIX and/or IBM i, although this is not a requirement
