We are now looking for a Lead Compliance Officer in Business Banking Countries Compliance to advise and support Business Banking Denmark in managing Compliance risks and team up with a group of highly skilled Compliance Professionals. What we offer you
Welcome to Business Banking Countries Compliance. The team is covering Business Banking across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway and collaborates closely with other second line colleagues across Group Compliance and Group Risk. We add value by supporting and challenging the business on compliance related matters. The unit consists of three highly skilled Compliance Professionals located across the Nordics. You will play a valuable role in identifying and supporting the handling of Compliance risks together with the team.

What you will be doing:

  • Day-to-day Compliance advisory across Business Banking Denmark
  • Organise, lead and facilitate activities across Group Compliance directed at Business Banking Denmark
  • Provide proactive support in regulatory implementations
  • Maintain an expert competence level in key regulatory areas applicable to Business Banking
  • Maintain good understanding of business and best practice compliance risk management related to products, processes and regulatory changes
  • Ad-hoc participation in cross-cutting strategic initiatives and other process development activities within the function
  • Facilitate activities across Group Compliance directed at Business Banking
  • Establish and maintain continuous and active dialogue with key stakeholders within business and other risk and compliance colleagues

Your experience and background:

  • 10+ years of experience within Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit
  • Master's degree in economics, law or similar
  • Expert understanding of MiFID II, MAR and other relevant financial regulations
  • High level of business understanding across products, services, systems, infrastructure and general operating model
  • Solution-oriented approach and good communication skills, including ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Experience in stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation
  • Skilled in applying a strategic mindset and sound risk-prioritisation in day-to-day work
  • Excellent Danish and English skills, both written and spoken
