Your Role in a Nutshell
As a Security Engineer at Check Point, no two days are the same. You'll get hands-on with the most advanced technologies in the market, help customers solve their most pressing security challenges, and play a crucial role in designing solutions. You will be at the heart of fascinating projects, working closely with our talented team to protect organizations from emerging cyber threats.
Reporting to:
Manager of Security Engineering in Norway
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and engage prospects
- Lead meetings with potential and existing customers to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions
- Address technical queries, share best practices, and manage Proof-of-Concepts
- Respond to RFI’s and RFP’s with detailed, accurate information
- Educate customers and partners on the latest security technologies and trends
- Participate actively in cybersecurity events and industry forums
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in engineering and presales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of typical customer network environments
- Ability to design comprehensive end-to-end security solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Relevant certifications are highly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE)
- Proficiency in the Norwegian language is required
