Commercial Steering Lead

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Steering Lead to join our Strategy Department and have an important role in shaping and implementing Nuuday's commercial strategy. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Commercial Steering, you will collaborate with all business lines and executive leadership to drive commercial initiatives and create business impact.

Description of the job
As the lead you are responsible for setting the commercial direction for our brands, focusing on strategy development, strategic pricing, and performance management. Your work will center around achieving commercial excellence and maximizing value for Nuuday and its customers. While this role does not include formal people management responsibilities, you will lead and develop project teams, guiding them with your expertise.

Strategic Leadership: Proactively outline the commercial agenda, define priorities, and guide decision-making across commercial performance, strategic pricing, and market strategy.

Performance Management: Oversee commercial performance across business lines, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure consistent delivery of results.

Governance: Lead key governance forums, such as pricing boards or performance reviews, fostering alignment and accountability across brands and teams.

Project Management: Lead and manage data-driven projects and present findings with a clear, well-reasoned storyline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across teams and build relationships to drive initiatives that optimize monetization, customer value, and business development opportunities.

Continuous Improvement: Shape commercial excellence by designing and implementing tools, processes, and frameworks that elevate our decision-making and execution.

Who are we looking for
Background

• A relevant education at Master level (management, finance, economics, econometrics, etc.).
• Around 4-8 years of working experience.
• Telecommunication/subscription business experience and familiarity with relevant commercial KPIs, such as CLV or ARPU, is highly desirable.

Skills and Behaviour

• Well-developed qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills, ideally with experience in business case and data modeling.
• Comfortable moving between high-level strategic perspectives and detailed hands-on analysis.
• Capability to think strategically and work in a structured, methodical manner.
• High sense of ownership and accountability, with a focus on setting high standards, creating actionable plans, and following through to deliver results.
• Extensive project management expertise.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced user of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Fluency in Danish is not needed, but advantageous.

Personality

• You get excited about strategic/commercial management and data analytics.
• Humble and empathetic personality with a positive and forward-looking mindset.
