Region NCE > Customer Project Execution > Offshore Pre-Installation Project Management

The Offshore Execution Department oversees the entire construction process for offshore wind farms, from inception to completion. This team is responsible for overseeing work packages from pre-installation through final testing, ensuring smooth operations throughout the project. They work closely with commercial project teams, marine and aviation experts, logistics partners, and procurement and finance departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain department strategy to meet commitment
  • Promote a strong safety and quality culture
  • Lead and manage four teams of Lead Site Managers overseeing pre-installation, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure implementation and follow-through of new concepts and improvements
  • Foster synergies across installation projects, including management synergies
  • Support project managers during the preparation, planning, and execution phases
  • Manage the department budget, including time tracking, travel, and training expenses

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a science or engineering field
  • Project and people management experience, particularly in offshore construction
  • Skilled in contractual negotiations, customer discussions, claims management, and related commercial aspects
  • Solid process knowledge in both execution and commercial activities
  • Experience in the wind or marine industry is beneficial
  • Good financial understanding and familiarity with maritime, customs, and EU legislation
  • Fluent in English

Additional information
Primary work location: we are open for candidates to be based in Aarhus, Hamburg, Husum, Szczecin, Warsaw or Warrington.

Expected travel: approximately 30 days per year.
