The Quality Department at our Vestas blade component factory is a vital part of our operations, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Our team is responsible for both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), two critical aspects of our production process.
Quality Assurance (QA) focuses on preventing defects in the products. We achieve this by developing and implementing procedures, policies, instructions, and standards that guide our production process. This consistent approach ensures that quality is built into the product from the very beginning.
Quality Control (QC), on the other hand, involves inspecting the finished products to ensure they meet all specifications. We use a variety of testing methods and tools to check the quality of our blade components.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities can be but is not limited to:
- Case handling of Medium and High level NC's, ensuring they are updated with the relevant information
- Act as a NC approver and mentor for candidates globaly
- Secure that data is documented in test papers in fx CR's (Capacity request)
- Perform internal process audits to ensure compliance
Qualifications
For us, the willingness to learn is more important than qualifications, but if you have some of the qualifications mentioned below, we would be interested to know.
- Good communication skills in English and preferably Danish
- Good knowledge about office workpack
- Knowledge of SAP
- Prior experience within production work or quality in production

- You are quality focused and structured in your work
- You have a flair for training new employees in Quality or willingness to learn
- You have a problem-solving way of thinking
- You are able to work independently and stand by your decisions
