The Position
As an Experienced IT/OT System Manager, you will be responsible for the global operation and maintenance of data collection and visualization systems. You will be the main responsible for managing local infrastructure (Servers, AD, VMWare, Databases, LAN/VLAN, Backup/Restore) for the sites and will work closely with colleagues in Global IT operations and local IT departments at the production sites. Furthermore, you will be planning, driving and ensuring systematic periodic reviews are conducted timely and drive/report regarding Life Cycle Management, risk assessments, IT security planning, patching, user reviews in compliance with relevant requirements (cGMP, GAMP, 21CFR Part 11 and instructions).
Your role will include a variety of tasks such as:

  • Being IT compliance responsible of a standardized rollout plan for the solutions and writing and approving change requests, test protocols, and instructions
  • Managing the operation and maintenance of global IT solutions and identifying new internal and external requirements
  • Contributing to incident management and systematic problem-solving within an ITIL framework
  • Executing quality activities such as IT risk assessments, qualification of the solutions and presenting IT systems during audits and inspections
  • Coordinating activities with various stakeholders, managing system maintenance and changes, and offering advice and consultancy to IT and automation supporters

Qualifications
As our new colleague you fulfil several of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, and/or demonstrated experience in the field as an IT professional
  • Ability to operate and maintain several systems in a structured way, keeping control in a highly regulated industry
  • Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL, Veeva Vault, Octoplant, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise & Ubuntu), Virtualized environments, GMP and/or GAMP is considered advantage

Your ability to solve intricate problems and derive practical solutions, combined with a strong quality mindset and an analytical approach, will further underscore your suitability for this position.

About the department
Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) is responsible for the manufacturing development of all devices and packaging related processes at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the product, developing, and implementing the production equipment at the production site all over the world, and developing innovative and digital solutions to our processes.

Within DMD, this position is located in the Global IL & Future Operational Technologies department, which explores manufacturing and operational technologies and transforms them into applicable solutions and standards used for enhancing production capacity and operational effectiveness.
