Python Database Developer

The Opportunity
For our FS neashoring center in Prague, the Czech Republic, we are searching for a Python Developer with extensive background to join international project for product development within fraud risk management platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Develop Python modules in collaboration with colleagues in Europe and Armenia
• Participate in full lifecycle software development within the business line squad
• Support and drive analysis for solutions to new business requirements and production issues
• Analyze data quality production
• Improve performance of the platform by using Oracle, and Python (data engineering background will help you in that)

Who Are We Looking For

• At least 4+ of experience in software development of complex Python modules
• Excellent Python (Pandas, data frames) development skills
• Very strong experience with relational databases (Oracle and Postgres)
• Good experience in working on Linux systems
• As an advatage, professional experience – reporting system (telco, fintech, banking)
• As an advantage, excellent PL/SQL or SQL skills
• As an advantage, experience in cloud database technology (BigQuery, others)
• Final degree (university or technical college) in software engineering or equivalent education
• Strong experience in working with high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high performance
• Strong experience in analyzing production issues on a full technical application stack
• English language skills
• Good analytical skills, good comprehension, and abstraction capability
• Team player; communication strength, capability to work in an international environment and distributed teams
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Availability for occasional travels
• High motivation and efficiency
• Positive attitude on working in distributed teams
