Gram Equipment is currently hiring Service Engineers, preferably based in the US, DK, Turkey, Poland, Croatia, Spain, or Oceania. In this position, you will have the opportunity to travel globally to commission and service first-class ice cream equipment. You will report to the Head of Global Installation & Service based in Kolding, Denmark.
Tasks
• Equipment installation and commissioning (worldwide) setup/start-up
• Repairs, service, and commissioning of ice cream equipment all around the world
• Maintenance and fault detection on highly automated equipment
• Technical support of the customer on-site
• Performing all scheduled maintenance / Inspections and preparation of service reports
• Deliver service products and support to our customers to maximize their system performance
• Interface with customers to establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship as well as follow up with customers' concerns and problems
• Maintain and administer customer files and reports
• Commissioning projects at the customer and able to carry out training of customers operators
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, and Mechanical engineering AND/OR a background as an Automatic Control Technician/ Electrician/Mechanic.
• Min. 5-10 years of practical experience with hands-on skills (preferably on-site experience)
• Advantage with experience in PLC programming, HMI, and electrical design
• Experience preferred in food handling equipment possibly in installation, commissioning, and/or maintenance
• Advantage with experience in pneumatic systems
English is the Group language, and you are expected to master it both in oral and writing.

• Able to work under pressure and solve issues independently
• Resourceful and creative in developing solutions to on-site problems
• Responsive to customer needs and ability to maintain positive customer relationships
• Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
Please note that you must be able to travel globally and extensively (up to 200 days/year).
